No Way Socks
Design
Our sock journey through the wives of Henry VIII begins, of course, with Catherine of Aragon. As with the five who follow, her life is complex, dramatic, and deserving of it’s own narrative, but as the musical Six reminds us, we’ve been trained to only see these amazing women through the lens of His- story.
After listening to No Way, you’ll agree that Aragon deserves her own crown for life, which is exactly why this sock design is covered with a K/P texture that creates a subtle, repeating diamond effect.

Finished Measurements: Foot Circumference: 7 (8, 9, 10)”/ 17.7 (20.3, 22.8, 25.4)cm
I recommend selecting a size that provides 1-2” of negative ease for proper fit.
Yarn: 1 skein of Sock by Malabrigo (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 440 yards/402 meters per 3.5 ounce/100 gram skein), shown in colorway: Violeta Africana.
Needles:US 1 (2.25mm) 40”/100cm circular needle for Magic Loop (or size required to get gauge) Note: A second circular needle in the same size is required for the cuff finishing in the pattern, although you may choose to substitute a different bind-off of your choosing.
